This sound piece was created for the 20th anniversary of the Henri Cartier-Bresson Foundation, on the occasion of a musical reading from a collection of interviews with the photographer (Puis-je encore garder quelques secrets?, Atelier EXB).

The piece seeks to echo the artist’s own words when describing the attitude a photographer must cultivate in their craft: “to be invisible, simply to be there, to arrive very gently, [...] so as not to disturb the water.”

The album, developed from that first performance, was partly interpreted by musicians met during a residency at the Centre National de la Musique / Goyki Art Inkubator in Sopot, Poland.
