This album was recorded in June 2023 in Piève, during a residency at Providenza. The cabin housing the detuned piano is surrounded by forest and birdsong.

Placed on the same sonic plane, birds, piano, bumblebees, tractors, and church bells seem to echo one another—offering a sensitive interpretation of what was once called Musica Mundana ("Music of the World") in the Middle Ages.

This recording explores ways of situating the human being and their art not at the center, but at the heart of life—alongside all other living things. Such a vision calls for the desacralization of studio recording, rooting music where it has always belonged, and always will: within our lives.
